Bishop Peter hosts a dinner party for undergraduates of the Diocese.
Bishop Peter hosted a dinner party this week at Bishop's House for undergraduates of the Diocese. An invitation was extended to all our young people who will soon be setting off for University and College to further their education. The meal was prepared and hosted by our Bishop and youth from all corners of the diocese attended.
The dinner party enabled Bishop Peter to chat with the students and to wish them well before they set off to commence their studies.
During the next couple of weeks, the students will be setting off to Cardiff, Liverpool and Cambridge universities to read Geography, Biomedical science, Physics and Engineering.
Chris Humphreys (Diocesan Youth Worker), who attended the meal, said that this was' a great opportunity for the youth of our diocese to get together and share their aspirations for the future'. The gathering also enabled the youth to network and build lasting friendships.
The undergraduate dinner hosted by Bishop Peter is an annual event, held during late August - early September, prior to the students setting off for university and college.
