Hundreds of young people gathered in the Cathedral of Christ the King in Liverpool on Saturday to celebrate ‘Build My Kingdom - Embrace 2015’.
Based on the lyric in the Embrace Anthem “Build my kingdom here and now” and from the readings of the day “My kingdom is not of this world” John 36, the conference looked at the role that we all have in Building the Kingdom of God on earth by the sharing the faith with others and caring for all, through using our own God given talents.
The day included inspirational speakers, uplifting drama, wonderful music and singing, personal testimony, adoration and reconciliation and a moving, joyful celebration of Mass presided at by Archbishop Malcolm McMahon of Liverpool, together with fellow Bishops and priests from across the area.
Wrexham Diocese was well represented with young people from St Richard Gwyn Catholic High School, St Jospeh’s and Blessed Edward Jones all contributing fully to the day. It was a day that they will remember for a long time.
