Over 400 year 6 pupils from schools from all over the Diocese came together to St Winefride's Well on the 22nd June 2017, to celebrate the Year 6 Leavers Mass, the theme of which was 'God's Many Wonderful Gifts'. The Mass was celebrated by Bishop Peter and concelebrated by clergy from around the Diocese. Head teachers Mrs Collette Owen and Mrs Rachel Molyneux stated 'This has been a wonderful opportunity to bring children from all parts of North and Mid Wales to celebrate their many wonderful skills before moving on from our Catholic primary schools to their new respective secondary schools.
Following the Mass, Bishop Peter blessed the children with the relic of St Winefride, before leading them to the Shrine.
We wish all year 6 leavers every success as they move up to their new secondary schools in September.
