Bishop Peter Inducts Fr Abraham Vargis, Fr Moses Amune and
Fr Antony Chike Nnamah to their new parishes
Bishop Peter recently celebrated three services of Induction of new Parish Priests in the parishes of Saltney, Llandudno and Ruabon. Each of the celebrations included clergy from around the diocese and further afield, local dignatories and parishioners from all over North Wales.
The first celebration was for Father Abraham Vargis from the order of the Carmelites of Mary Immaculate, who until very recently served the parish of Our Lady Star of the Sea, Llandudno to his new parish - St Anthony of Padua, Saltney. Parishioners were thrilled at the arrival of Fr Abraham as they have been without a parish priest for a few years and this appointment herald the beginning of a new era in the life of the parish.

Father Moses has now moved to Our Lady Star of the Sea at Llandudno. During the celebration, children from Blessed Wiliam Davies school, accopmanied by staff helped with the music ministry. Other faith leaders from around the North Wales coast attended the Mass to welcome Father Moses to his new Parish.
The third and final celebration was for Father Anthony Chike Nnamah from the Missionaries of Saint Paul who is new to the diocese. Fr Anthony takes over from Fr Moses, serving the Parish of St Richard Gwyn which comprises of Ruabon, Llangollen and Chirk. Fellow clergy from Fr Anthony's order attended the celebration alongside parishioners and friends from previous parishes throughout the Uk. Also in attendance were parishioners from Ruabon, Llangollen and Chirk who worshiped alongside parishioners from the Anglican tradition that share the Church of St Mary the Virgin at Ruabon.
We wish Fr Abraham, Fr Moses and Fr Anthony every blessing as they pursue their ministry at their new parishes.
