Syro Malabar Catholics in the Diocese of Wrexham celebrate the Solemnity of their patron St. Thomas the Apostle of India
On 3rd July the Syro Malabar Catholics in the Diocese of Wrexham celebrated the Solemnity of their patron St. Thomas the Apostle of India in Hawrden Catholic Church. Fr. Johnson CMI, Fr Roy SDV and Fr Shaji Punnattu concelebrated the Holy Mass (Qurbana).
His Excellency Bp. Peter Brignall blessed the congregation by his participation, homily and whole time presence.
A solemn procession carrying the Statue of St. Thomas around the church ground was followed soon after the Holy Mass. Thereafter the whole community gathered around the dining table for a shared meal.
