60th Jubilee Celebrations at Llanrwst Parish

Eglwys y Bugail Da, the Catholic Church of The Good Shepherd, Llanrwst celebrated its 60th Jubilee on Saturday, September 10th.
Mass was concelebrated by Bishop Peter Brignall, Monsignor Fealy, and Father Damian assisted by the Deacon Steve Davies and the altar server Jimmy Curran.
Photographs covering over one hundred years of Catholicism in Llanrwst were displayed during the lunch at Hafan Gwydir.
Two books of interest were launched: the bi-lingual, illustrated booklet, written by the late Margaret Ryan and edited by Andrew Lamb entitled: Catholicism in the Conwy Valley, and the memoirs of the parish priest since 2002,
Father Damian Grimes MHM, entitled: Uganda: My Mission. Both are available from the church and on Amazon.
