Design a Logo Competition Winners

The Commission would like to thank everyone who took part in their competition, to design a logo for their forthcoming Diocesan Challenge.  The standard was very high and after some tough deliberating on the part of the Commission members, this winning design was chosen.

This was designed by Amira Mattar age16 from Our Lady of the Rosary Parish in Buckley.  This logo will be used by the Commission on all its materials and publicity for the forthcoming challenge to the Diocese.

Amira is shown here receiving her prize from Tony Ellis, Marriage and Family Life Commission Chairman together with other prize winners from Our lady of the Rosary Parish Youth Group and Mrs Sue Norris-Clamp, youth group organiser.

The other group winners were Haf Jones age 7 and Isabella Williams age 6 both of Holy Cross Church Gellilydan, nr Blaenau Ffestiniog.

Isabella and Haf received their prizes from Margaret Hinton, Marriage and Family Life Project Worker.  Also in the picture are the other prize winners and members of the Gellilydan childrens' group with their group leader Sr Mary O'Callahan.
