Trustees
Wrexham Diocese is a charitable trust whose object is the advancement of the Catholic faith. It is the responsibility of the Board of Trustees to administer the assets – the finance and property – of the Diocese in accordance with the law relating to charities and the requirements of Canon Law.
The Board of Trustees comprises the Bishop, clergy and lay people.
Bishop Peter has elected to remain a Trustee and chairs the Board
There are four members who are appointed ex officio:
Rev Terence Carr as Vicar General
Rev Simon Treloar as Dean of the Cathedral
Chancellor - currently awaiting appointment
Rev Francis Doyle as Diocesan Treasurer
The remaining members appointed by the Bishop are:
Mr Gerry Walsh
Rev Pius Mathew
Mr Keith McDonogh
Mrs Grace Lewis Parry
The Trustees have established a Finance and Property Advisory Committee chaired by Mr Keith McDonogh. The Advisory Committee meets before each Board of Trustees, which then considers the recommendations brought forward. Trustees meet at least 3 times a year.
